Raiders, Captains and Referencing

I wasn't planning to come on the uni computers today. I was going to go straight home after having had my Epic lecture and gotten out a couple of books on Count Von Luckner and the Wolf, seeing how they both relate rather well to my WWI essay. The Wolf was a converted merchantman cruiser (according to Paul, and as I remember, though I have the stats somewhere) and it prowled around the Pacific, sinking ships and stuff. I'm also going to include a bit of stuff on the Emden and Von Spree, who ended up off South America.

However, in my perusal of books on WWI in the library catalogue, I found a Masters Thesis called Military Censorship in World War I: Its Use And Abuse In New Zealand, and I immediately thought 'mmmmm, there's something I can use.' Or something of the sort, anyways. I'm writing a paragraph (or part of one) on it now.

However, I have no idea how to reference it. The leaflet the library has at the back says that I have to say author, their title, faculty and university have to be cited, but I'm not sure in what order. If anyone has any advice, it will be greatly appreaciated. I don't need to make up referencing for two lots of stuff.

Got an email from J. - not my sister. She sounds good, I think. I'll have to reply soonish, but right now I'm really too busy to do so. I got an extension for Epic, so I only have to write 3000 words by tomorrow, since my whole class got an automatic extension til Monday for Greek. I might have to ask for a further extension for Greek until Wednesday. So, technically, right now, I have to write 6,000 words by Monday, and I've done scarcely any research for Greek. *sighs*

No further word on Basil. Will call home tonight, and ask.

At least I can focus on my work now, when I try. Wasn't doing so well at it before.

And Paladin of Souls still isn't in.

(no subject)

I made a mistake in my previous entry. It's not von Spree as I said, but von Spee.

That's all folks. I have an essay to write. I will write it, and hand it in on time, regardless of distractions, however large they might loom.
