Photos of the flat!
I thought people might like to see what our new flat looks like. I was up there late this morning, and took my parents to see it. They were moderately impressed, which was a good thing, and after they left, I did some cleaning (wiped windowsills and some windows) before I came home again and began packing. I have packed about 14 boxes so far, and most of that is books. I need more boxes!

The lounge, from the doorway into the hall. The fireplace works, and the view stretches from the Karori Cemetary, round past the Otari/Wilton Bush to Khandallah.

maudlinrose's room. Nice view, two wardrobes.

C's room.

My room. Depending on what we do about coat racks, and keeping coats on them, I may or may not keep the wardrobe in my room. If I don't, it'll be either another coat rack, or a general storage device.

Bathroom. Showerhead is high enough, and the shower curtain is a navy blue.

Kitchen. The place comes with the dining room table and chairs. Also, there is tons of storage, as there are more cupboards than are shown in this photo.

The back garden from the back steps. The clothesline is on roughly the same level as the back of the house, and on level ground. That will be lovely.

The front of the house from near the letterbox. Yes, we have to climb all those. The top set of windows are ours.
I'll post the photos of me at Kapcon when Alessan sends them to me. As is, I've only got a couple of photos of my hair, taken by the phone camera, and that's not really worth posting yet. Kapcon was fun. I played in four games and the Larp. And I was going to post an entertaining account of what occured, but right now I can't be bothered.
