PotC: At World's End rocked

I think I feel the same way about Jack Sparrow as I do Miles Vorkosigan: I like them both very much, but I appreciate them so much more at a distance.

...it is so time for me to go to bed now. My brain is fucked.

I agree that AWE was a very fun movie (though I really don't think Beckett would just stand there... nor will the navy just turn head and run; they'd have hunted them down, man). But they've killed my Norringtom. :'(

My brain hurts, too.

I kept thinking about the mundane stuff, like, how will Elizabeth find the money to live alone, by herself...?

Hey, she's King of the Pirates; she'll steal a bunch of money ;)

That part really threw me out of the movie; I mean, the Royal Navy turning and running from pirates? What the fuck? That's what you have a second in command for on another ship! I did like Beckett's death scene, though. Totally unrealistic, but kinda cool.

Poor chap. I liked him.

I rather think that Governor Swann had a personal fortune as well as whatever he gained at his post and that would have been left to Elizabeth, apart from whatever was entailed. Also: Pirate King.

What an awful comparison [g].

*snickers* Well, at 3.00am it's amazing what comparisions fairly leap to mind.

...I wouldn't want to be stranded on a desert island with either of them.
