Nov. 3rd, 2003 05:13 pmI am currently doing two things. I am writing out cover letters to send with my CV to jobs I am applying for (brought the Dominion Post last Saturday), and it is getting repetitive and boring, and I am going through my inbox and forwarding messages to another email address so that my account doesn't keep on flooding up. When I go home (as I am currently at uni), I will do some study for myth and do some crossstitch.
Thanks to Carmel, I recently managed to buy a copy of Wild Magic in the cover that I wanted. I now have a matching set, thanks to her.
I made gingerbread yesterday and took some of it to Garden Rd. with me. I think it went the fastest of anything I've ever made, which is interesting. Perhaps people were getting as tired of eating chocolate cakes as I was of making them. I can't make gingerbread every week, though. It uses a cup of golden syrup, and that's just too expensive for a regular thing. I do have a little bit left at home, which is very nice.
I am about to start pricing places in which to get my hair cut again. I'm still debating how short I want it to go. I'll either get a couple of inches cut off (since it's looking straggely - and no one told me this!) or I'll get it cut really short. Since I'll have to put up with sulking and find somewhere to put all my hair-stuff, I'm thinking just a couple of inches.
My parents were down over the weekend. It was good to see them again, and talk over things. They were most impressed with my crossstitch. Paul and I went to see Calender Girls with them, which was really good.
