Jun. 6th, 2005 10:55 pmApart from the sunrise, my book, my shower after work, roleplaying and time and a half, my day pretty much sucked.
The main reason I saw some of the sunrise was because I had to walk to work, it being a Sunday bus timetable and me starting work at 8.30am, with the first Mairangi leaving at 8.36 and the Karori being either fifty minutes early or ten minutes late, and that's from the Karori Tunnel.
My book, while good (Deat Beat, the latest Dresden Files book), was also kinda depressing, as the main character, one Harry Dresden, is fighting necromancers and himself.
I had a shower after work because I was hot and tired and in a foul mood and the shower helped.
Tonight's Winter Wolf session seemed a lot more subdued than usual, almost as if we were filling in time.
Now I'm listening to Emma Shapplin, who appears to have become my comfort music instead of Phantom of the Opera and catching up on my emails. I have tomorrow off, fortunately and I'm not coming in even if they call and ask me to. My next day off, I believe, is Saturday. Then I work Sunday. And who knows what the next day off I'll have is. I haven't had two days off in a row for weeks, and I'm seriously considering pointing this out. I need two days in a row. Having one day between two is just annoying.
In short, the day sucked.
Hallowed Hunt this Wednesday.
