*stunned* There's something wrong about discovering a sentence like this in your grandparents weekly email, especially with the way my mind works and the fact that I can't work out who M is. Probably a relative.
Work was okay today, aside from not being able to start cleaning until nearly 11.00am, but it took me that long to check five floors of VC rooms, so that was okay. Then I finished around 3pm and wandered down to James Smith, whereupon I hung out with
maudlinrose and took her to the after-hours clinics for the migraines. She has colourful earwax.
Have started reading Bishop Burnet's History of His Times, abriged by Rev. Thomas Stackhouse. Currently in the early Restoration period, and really, Burnet doesn't seem to like anyone or their politics or religion. It's kinda funny, actually. I still find the fact that the majority of my English history books are for the 17th/18th centuries rather bemusing, since it's not actually one of my areas.
Got an email back from I. about my proposed character for Lace and Steel. I was somewhat bemused to find that I'd won points for having the first ever character sheet that required him to look something up in the dictionary. Having scanned it again, I'm still not sure what word he had trouble with. I can make amendments now that I have his comments back and have spent most of the day thinking about her.
Stayed up far too late reading SGA fic last night. The fic was mostly good, and I wasn't too tired this morning. Have felt a lot better today, which is good. And a couple of days doing stuff, but not working will probably help; lack of chemicals is always a good thing.
