Please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL memory of you and me.

It can be anything you want - good or bad - BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE.

When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people DON'T ACTUALLY remember about you.

I realised recently that I haven't updated for a while. I both haven't really felt like it, and haven't had anything interesting going on in my life. My last interview was the worst one I've ever done, so hopefully my coffee meeting tomorrow morning will go somewhat better. I feel more comfortable about what I'm wearing for it at least.

Isthian is waiting for things to happen in Lace & Steel. I realised tonight that I'd actually forgotten about a large portion of her income. What she mainly lives off comes from her father. Ivan, have a look and see if I'm right, would you? Although assorted disasters occured in game, nothing actually happened to her or Robert, and Robert's been there supporting her, which is nice. As an NPC, he's not terribly visible, but Isthian is aware that he's there, and while she could manage alone, it's nice not to have to.

I worked most of the weekend, and we had Alessan around on Saturday evening, so Sunday was very quiet; just what I needed.

Volunteered for a Ironclaw game which will take a couple of Friday evenings. [livejournal.com profile] house_monkey, is that at your place? It sounds like fun, anyway. Anthromorphic sword and sorcery... for some reason, I now want to reread Covenants and The King's Own by Lorna Freeman. Unfortunately, I gave them back to Alessan last week. Oh well, I'll live.

I shall print off a couple of things and then go to bed. Job description, so I can come up with decent questions about the place, and maybe the history of the company or something. Or I could go to an internet cafe for a while in the morning. I have a pair of shoes to pick up in the morning before the meeting, so I will have some time to kill.

Wish me luck.

Yep, looks like that will be at my place.

I remember one time when we were walking around Wellington High between rounds at Kapcon and saw a tiger lurking in the carpark. You said it must have been the one who'd escaped from the zoo that you'd read about in the paper. Then Fraser came along going to his car and hadn't seen it, so you distracted it with a hastily contrived device made from a banana skin, some duct tape and a bicycle wheel. This allowed me to sneak up and capture it with my towel.
When Fraser noticed us he asked what was going on and we replied in unison, "Nothing!" all the time sitting on the struggling beast. He looked at us like we were crazy, shrugged and wandered off, allowing us to jump on the next bus to the zoo, return the tiger and get back in just in time for the next round.

Good luck with the interview.

The coffee meeting which was supposed to be half an hour took an hour, and I have a follow up interview tomorrow afternoon, which is promising. The ironic thing is I have an interview with their direct competitors for a very similar role in the morning. I am cautiously optimistic.

Back when I was your babysitter you used to like me to tell you stories, I ran dry of ideas and started telling you what my Runequest group had been up to lately. Oddly you liked those stories the best.

And yet I've never played Runequest. How... odd.
