nishatalithaI am writing more of that fic from Suzanne's start. When I began tonight, I had no idea of who the characters were or what the plot was about. It's very strange writing that way. Still, I know more now. It's a strangely addictive fic to write. I'm quite enjoying it. And suggestions are still being taken for titles.
I'm thinking about how you define yourself and others by relation to other people. That seems to come up in this fic.
I made Paul a dice bag this week for a late anniversary present. Five months. He was really pleased with it, which was gratifying. I think I could've done a better job though, with more time and a sewing machine. I'm less fond of hand-sewing than I was. Still, I might make another with the scraps of material for his lucky D20 that he always keeps in his bag. I have ideas about the pattern.
The fabrics I chose are nice. I got this gorgeous orange/red fabric that I'd love to wear (it's kinda shiny and really pretty) and some black deerskin stuff (I think that's what it's called) for the lining and it's really soft and nice. They contrast nicely together. And I freeform crossstitched DICE onto the front. That was kinda messy, but readable.
Bed for me now. I'm tired.
