nishatalithaHaven't really been up to much, lately. The most interesting thing that I think has happened recently (besides me getting interested in the Ramna 1/2 fandom is coming across a LOTR fanfic.
I found this amusing because it has some of the same elements that you people who like canon and go in for prettiness in slash fanfiction (ie. Legolas/Aragorn *shudders*)often come across. Legolas appears to be dying from grief (as Elves do) due to the loss of Aragorn to the Lady Arwen. Aragorn also loves Legolas and doesn't want to give him up (well, he is pretty), but is too honourable to keep them both. Although, what honour has to do with starting something with Legolas when he's already betrothed to Arwen, I don't know.
Regardless (and this is why it was sent to the Axe_Bow ML), Aragorn sends for a close friend of Legolas' - one Dwarf, named Gimli - and offloads his problem onto the other's broad shoulders.
The fic isn't finished yet, but it looks to be most amusing. Of course, I'm a L/G fan, anyways (Aragorn/Legolas is just wrong) and the only other fic with these vague plotline was very slashy, had all sorts of things going on Elrond, Glorfindel, Erestor and Elladan (I think) and ended up using Elrohir to save Legolas. Elrond and Glorfindel were already together (previous story) and Erestor and Elladan ended up together. It's one of those 'practically everyone is gay' stories, where it's noticable if someone isn't.
