I should have gone to bed a long time ago. Instead, it's nearly dawn, and I'm only just going to bed. I blame it all on the fic, of course. There was this snarry one, which held me very interested from about 6 or 7pm (excluding about twenty minutes to make dinner) until around 1.30am. It was good. Long, complex, plot, hot sex, and beautiful character development. And then I worked out how to get into the Liaden chapbook files that Alessan emailed me some time ago (I had problems with the file types), and so I have been lost in those for the last three or four hours. Three, I think, but I'm not entirely sure on my counting skills now, nor upon my paragraphing abilities. So having finished reading all these (but avoiding the actual novels, since I can get hold of them in hardcopy), I no longer feel quite so overwhelmed with new sf/fantasy in ebook form, since I am left with the latest Wen Spencer, courtesy of
lyraethe, and Crystal Dragon, thanks again to Alessan, and I really feel that those two can wait until tomorrow, along with the rest of the hardcopy books I borrowed from Alessan, and the dishes. Last I knew, we were supposed to be doing our own dishes now. I made sure they were done before I went to Hamilton, but they don't appear to have been done since I went. Admittedly, I haven't done the ones I used tonight, but I will do them tomorrow, since I have the day off. I do hope I manage to sleep in tomorrow. I woke up earlier than I planned today, and then I managed to forget that it was a public holiday, even after read
jessikast's post, which threw off my knowledge of the bus timetables, although not disastorously, and made finding somewhere to eat lunch and do character stats. awkward. But that's all done now, and I'm looking forward to the game.
I must be tired. The punctuation isn't too bad, aside from run-on sentences, which I like anyway, but the paragraphing! If anyone reads it all, I'll be amazed.
