Choices

So the place we looked at tonight: lovely, what we wanted, bit more than we want to pay, on the Mairangi and we're all mentally arranging our furniture in it. We applied for it, property manager is checking references tomorrow. We would have to move in three weeks.

Called our landlords to warn them, chatted for a bit, she said her son had definitely decided to move out in January and it's a shame we'd found somewhere. I said we would still be interested but would need a definite date. We should get to go look sometime in the next day or so. We could move in late January.

It's hard to know what to hope for.
