May. 29th, 2005 09:56 pmI was almost late for catching the bus this morning, thanks to this weird dream I was having.
It was set at my grandparents bach at Lake Rotoiti, the one which adjoins Rotorua.
maudlinrose and
thesane know where this is.
There were jedi fighting in the kitchen, with lightsabers. One of them was Obi Wan Kenobi and I don't know who the other one was, but it was someone Kenobi was close to, only not Anakin or Qui Gon Jinn, but tall and human. Male. I have no idea why they were fighting there.
Anyhow, Dad said he was leaving soon and I remembered that I had to leave for work anyway and decided to go with him. This meant that I had to shut down the satellite on my laptop (which involved removing the cloth covering - one per day worked - and folding it up), which I did. But something happened with the download, and I started getting the latest TV1 news report, and clicking the corner box with the cross on didn't do anything, and nor did pressing delete. It said it was going to delete, but then it didn't. In the end, I just pulled the plug on the internet and shut it down.
That was early morning. I took another look at the clock and realised that it was far too late for me to get to work now, since somehow, several hours had passed and it was now around 11.00am. I considered calling in sick, but the travel time to Hamilton from Rotorua wasn't that bad (yes, the Bolton was in Hamilton) and decided to go in anyway.
Then I woke up with my alarm buzzing, saw the time, realised it was actually half past eight, according to my quarter-of-an-hour-fast alarm clock, that I actually started work at nine, not eleven, and started moving.
I do have to wonder what jedi were doing in the kitchen at Rotoiti, though. And I kept thinking I lived in Rotorua and trying to estimate travel times based on the distance from Rotorua to Hamilton for half the day. Somehow, I think it's a good thing that I'm not working tomorrow.
After that, the day started off, well, okay. Couldn't do rooms for a while, because no one had left, and then, of course, they were kinda messy, it being Sunday and all. Left one room early because of a nasty headache, but sitting outside in the wind waiting for the bus blew most of it away. And then I headed off to Creswick Tce. to watch Blade: Trinity, which would've been more amusing, if I hadn't kept on trying to fall asleep through it. Wasn't sitting next to anyone who had a shoulder I wanted to put my head on, so managed to avoid that embarassment. However, unless I come across something fantastic to read very soon, I'm going to be in bed and asleep within the hour.
Hallowed Hunt comes out on Wednesday. That's three days away.

Theory 101
Date: 2005-05-29 12:04 pm (UTC)It was explained a lot clearer when Iread it but that was ages ago. It's not the most plausable theory of dreams but It's reasonable.
