Both roleplaying games felt kinda subdued this week. Lace & Steel was because it was the two days after a major event, and things tend to be quieter, especially when a major NPC lies near death in her bed. Yes, we managed to cover nearly two days in about three hours. This is fairly usual for us.
Earthdawn was interesting. It was partly a case of let's go and explore the world, and partly we're at our destination. What do we do now? Cities are expensive to live in. Still, it was fun, and we sucessfully lost track of time so that N. and I missed our last bus and had to split a taxi home.
Today was the first day that I finished before 5pm for a reason other than feeling sick for I'm not entirely sure how long. And because I wanted to go home early and do stuff, I skipped having a shower at work (there was a queue), and then waited twenty minutes for the bus, since the one I was going to catch didn't actually come. Sometimes, you just gotta love the Mairangi.
Had a nice chat with mum and my brother today. My brother broke up with his girlfriend of I'm not sure how many years, and my mother has her thesis printed and bound and ready to hand in to be marked.
