Saw the Christmas parade on Sunday. The music was good, and a couple of things stood out to me.

1) The actual marching band looked and acted far more professional than the Sallies, since they stayed in place, and didn't go up to talk to the conductor or people on the sidelines or each other and so on.

2) For the nativity, Joseph had dreadlocks and the baby was real.

Also, I've been meaning to comment on a book here. It's called Midnight Predator, and I can't remember who it's by, since it's at home, and I'm at uni, and it's written by a chick born in 1984. It's not the best book I've ever read, and it's not the worst, but I can clearly see the influence that L. J. Smith had on the author. It's somewhat Nightworldyish. For some reason, this amuses me. I've seen another book of hers in the library, which, from the blurb, appears to have a similar plot to an L. J. Smith fanfic that I read once. One trusts that the book is better - or at least, complete.

maudlinrose was complaining that she had no smut. So I wrote some and I sent it to her. Now I am posting it here.

Went to Black Knights's parents place for dinner tonight. I say that, even though Black Knight and I cooked dinner. Lai's Sloppy Chicken Enchilada's went down really well - request for the recipe. Yay! Also, raw spinach (tasteless and nice, raw carrots and mushrooms fried in butter).

And made (and brought back) Grandma's chocolate fudge recipe, so I get to taste that soon. I hope I made it right.

Did Ambrosia for desert. It was nice, too.

Then I came home, put the fudge in the fridge and went online. And yes. Here I am. And then I wrote that fic above.
