Jun. 20th, 2005 10:16 pmPeople should go and look at the moon. J. was really tired at and after gaming tonight, so the three of us taxied back to Northland and I walked home from Creswick Tce.
You know how sometimes the moon can get a corona around it? A small one, but fairly bright. And even more occasionally, there are two? Well, tonight I saw three. The small bright one, the larger not-quite-as-bright one, and then stretching out, almost as far as the eye could see (well, a good foot diameter from my position on the ground), another circle, faint and then brightening at the edges, like the outermost stretch of ripples when you drop a stone into a perfectly flat surface of water.
I'll stop now. It was really rather pretty.
Gaming was lots of fun with cinematic moments/injuries and teleporting. Also, the giant demons of Reality. I want to change to small uppercase letters for that reality, a bit like Death appears in the Pratchett books. The mini-LARP style thing is on Sunday.
Am trying to read Enemy Glory by Karen Michalson for the second time, and once again, it's really not working.
Currently Playing: WoD: Winter Wolf
Currently Reading: The Curse of Chalion, Lois McMaster Bujold
Enemy Glory, Karen Michalson
Luck In The Shadows, Lynn Flewelling
