The weather is so different today than it was on Satuday. Amazing how fast things can change. On Saturday I went out to Houghton Bay with a group of girls from the chaplaincy at Vic, and we walked along the beach to see the seals. And we had brilliant weather. It was a nice walk, too. Alas, mainly not in the sun, but we had a lovely clear view of the South Island, and saw the Lynx going out and it was all pretty and lovely. The only thing which ruined it was all the cars and four wheel drives that keep on passing us, and making the muddy holes in the path worse. Apparently, they're not allowed on the beach on Sundays, so if you're ever going out there to see the seals (if it's not a weekday, which should be quieter) go on Sunday. The vehicles are really annoying. The walk takes a couple of hours return. And the seals weren't too smelly (except when the wind wasn't right) or noisy. Then we went back to Elli's place and had fish & chips for dinner and watched a couple of videos. I was home 11.30ish, and went straight to bed.

Haven't really felt like coming online much lately. Been reading a lot and avoiding study. Except for the fact that I really need to do some Greek, and thus will be studying this evening, anyways. Jess is coming here soon to study Greek. I've no idea what I'll feed her for dinner, but I daresay I'll come up with something. I'm glad I put the heater on in the lounge earlier.

And my window leaks! I knew the lounge ones do when it's this sort of wind and rain. I didn't know mine did! This is annoying. *shrugs* But then, I suppose it is a price to pay for living in a cheap student flat.
