nishatalithaAm still very tired, and my back hurts like all buggery. A bath this evening hasn't done that much to alleviate it, and sitting at the computer for hours probably won't do much either. Depending on how I sleep tonight, I may have to pay for one tomorrow. I have no idea why it's hurting like this, but it's rather annoying.
Went to the first two sessions at Confusion III today. Enjoyed them both. Played an SAS spy inside the Umbrella corporation in the first one, and a Jesuit priest seeking out heretics and traitors corrupting Mother Church from within in the second. Much laughter in both, but I was kept awake mainly by force of will, sugar, V, and mandarins. Felt ready to crash by the end of the dinner break, so came home, had a bath and read for a while. Friday's Child only keeps my attention in hourly bursts or so, so it takes me a little while to read.
I'm going back to the fic for a while, and then I am going to bed. I'm tired, I'm coming down with a cold, and my back hurts. The best thing about all this is that I have both Sunday and Monday off, so hopefully things will be much better by Tuesday, when I'm back at work. Have also been accepted to be one of the people doing the two-day first-aid certificate that work is paying for in a couple of weeks. Another qualification is always good, and this is actually a useful one.
I can't think of anything else to say. I feel somewhat crashed, aside from the ice-creamy sugary chocolately goodness I consumed a little bit earlier this evening. When that wears off it will be bad. I need to get to church tomorrow, because there are people I need to talk to and I want to go, because I like going. But if I don't feel well tomorrow, I'll just have to call C., make my apologies, give her what info I have that she might need and go back to bed.
...the more I think about it, this sounds like a good plan.

laputain has a gig, I believe, and C. and I have two other options, one of which I am offering up to you all once the arrangements are confirmed. A DVD evening held at Central, featuring things like The Incredibles and no preaching, because she and I are the ones organising it, and there is also Alessan's 40th birthday party, which I would like to go to. *sighs* What to do?
